Young men activity

On Saturday, we had a bunch of appointments but they all got canceled because the investigators were sick.  We did get to go on a young men activity later that afternoon.  송현수 is only 17 in American age so he still gets to be part of the young men program.  We pick up trash on the beach.  Afterward, we went to eat at a members house.  It was super yummy.  I don't remember what the food was called if they even told us.  It was basically a clear circle of rice paper that you soak in water so that it will bend and then put a bunch of stuff in it and wrap it up like a soft taco and then eat it.  It was definitly delicious.

On Thursday, we took out our big message board and used that again.  No one came and took anything from it this time.  People did come and look at the board for a little bit though.  We also saw an old lady sitting against a building and we went over and talked to her for a while.  We gave her a Plan of Salvation pamphlet.  She said her eyes were too bad to read it but she really liked the pictures in it.  Since a lot of the pictures were of families she kept telling us that we should get married.  There was also one picture of just a girl so she asked us if we thought she was attractive.  We told this lady that she could keep the pamphlet.  We could still see her when we went back to the board.  I think she looked through it about 10 to 15 times.  Some old man came by and sat by her for a while too and I think he ended up reading the pamphlet all the way through and then he ended up being the one that took the pamphlet with him.
