Banana plants

On Thursday, a guy that comes to English class took us to an art park with a botanical garden (I don't know what that means but that is what he called it) in the same area.  The art park was just a bunch of sculptures that people made out of big rocks.  It wasn't as cool as I thought it would be.  The garden was amazing though.  It had banana plants in it even.  A lot of them had the banana flower on it and some of them had leaves that were over 10 feet long.

Windy, rainy typoon Monday, May 11, 2015

On Monday, we went our for the evening and it was raining so we brought umbrellas out with us.  It also happened to be super windy too (apparently it was a typhoon).  Elder Salvesen's umbrella broke and the metal handle even got torn in half within the first five minutes.  We mostly just got wet that day instead.  There was one time that we we walking and it was so windy that we would take steps and go less than a foot forward with each step.
